Krefelder Run&Fun company running event!
This year, IMR started with 33 participants in Krefeld’s “Run&Fun” company running event on July 4th under the slogan: „Fit for Life! – Fit for Work!“
We started with 11 groups of 3 runners each. These groups were set up as follows: Non-ferrous metal team, shredder team, women team, family team, integration team…
Every employee was diligently training for this event – although what really counts in the end is participating and getting to the finish line.
At 6 p.m. already, the employees gathered at the IMR pavilion in the city forest at the race track. All employees were excited and motivated despite high temperatures of close to 30 degree Celsius. The fastest IMR runner passed the finish line after only 22 minutes and 46 seconds. When runner no. 33 also passed the finish line after 40 minutes and 28 seconds, we all let the day end with beer and water in the pleasant race track atmosphere.
In 2019 as well, IMR will be at the start again – then with 50 runners!
