Our new shears on Hentrichstraße began operation in November 2025. These are highly automated Copex shears with a shearing force of 1,300 tons and a cutting width of 1 meter. In bright sunshine, employees on site were able to see the new shears and their impressive performance for themselves.
Our PV system was connected to the grid on 24 June 2025. Another step towards sustainability!
As an member of the Climate Protection Network, we want to consolidate the focus of our corporate strategy on climate protection. The active transfer of knowledge could strengthen our climate protection expertise and increase our efforts to protect the environment.
True to our motto ‘We conserve resources’, we organised an IMR family trip as part of the project ‘Planting Trees Today for Tomorrow’ in Winterberg on which we jointly planted 250 beech, oak and sweet chestnut seedlings. With this initiative, we’re investing in our future, and in that of the generations to follow.

„StuBo on Tour“ was held in our non-ferrous metals hall on 22 September 2023. The goal of the event was to introduce the actors in the industry association and our entire sector to the studies and career orientation instructors.

We were awarded by the IHK Mittlerer Niederrhein with the certificate „The best training companies 2022“ for outstanding achievements in apprenticeship. We are very proud of this.
Our team took part in the company run this year with great success.
IMR started with 65 participants at the Krefeld company run „Run & Fun“ on 31.08.22 under the slogan „Heavy Metal Heart of Gold“ and was awarded with the 1st place for the most creative slogan!
After we started receiving the first incoming goods at our new location in Krefeld in late September, the final train with stainless steel was loaded in the Hentrichstraße this week.

After recently having received the award of the Krefelder Marketingclub, on the 29th of October we furthermore won the IHK Mittlerer Niederrhein @ward for the best website in the category „target group/customer focus“. This is a nice confirmation of our work in corporate communications.
This year, the jury’s special award was given to IMR for our exemplary human resources marketing and the associated employer branding campaign „Heavy Metal – Heart of Gold“.
moreAs announced last year, IMR took part in the Krefeld company run „Run & Fun“ on 3rd of July 2019 with a number of 50 participants.
moreWe are there for our employees! That’s why on May 27, 2019, we were honored with the Health Award by AOK Rheinland/Hamburg and the Institute for Workplace Health Promotion for our successful and sustainable commitment to health prevention in the workplace.
moreOur strive for apprenticeship which we had started over one year ago, has now proven successful once more: On 29 March we were presented with the „Certificate of Apprenticeship Excellence“ from the Agentur für Arbeit Krefeld (employment agency of the city of Krefeld).
moreThis year, IMR started with 33 participants in Krefeld’s “Run&Fun” company running event on July 4th under the slogan: „Fit for Life! – Fit for Work!“
We started with 11 groups of 3 runners each. These groups were set up as follows: Non-ferrous metal team, shredder team, women team, family team, integration team…
In the context of our health management, we will participate this year again in Krefeld’s largest works outing on July 4th, 2018.
Last year still with a comparatively small group of 9 runner, we are signing up 39 participants this year.
Now especially, we are looking back to 10 successful years, satisfied customers/suppliers and functioning partnerships.
